Walking to the other side of the dunes you come to Playa del Inglés, the mot touristic beach in Gran Canaria.
But my parents holidayed here in 1984. My mom send me this picture during trip.
I was able to find almost the exact spot.

It is such a clear night you can see the peak of Teide. The highest mountain in Spain. Hopefully in a week, I will be standing there.
